COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT UPDATE
COMMUNITY CENTRE
Working is continuing on Community Centre roof, toilets, kitchen and floors. But, it is still available for use. Car park is closed to all traffic. Access to centre is via pedestrian entrance on the village side or pedestrian access from Enterprise Centre car park.
NEW LOCKING SYSTEM TO COMMUNITY & ENTERPRISE CENTRES
We have now installed new locking systems to both the Enterprise & Community Centres. Anybody who already
has keys to any of the facilities can still use these to open the doors. However DO NOT use the key to lock the doors,
just Pull the door out after you and it will lock automatically.
All the external entrance doors now have a KEY PAD. If you regularly use any of the doors we will supply you with a Code
that will give you access any time you need. If you have not already been contacted by us please contact John on 086 2557942
and we will arrange your code. Ideally in a short time this System will eliminate the need for key, saving all a lot of hassle.

BCP Broadband Connection Point
We are delighted to announce that Clonberne Community Enterprise Centre is now a BCP (Broadband Connection Point). What this means is that the Enterprise Centre has High Speed Broadband, both in the building and in the Car Park. This broadband is now available for free usage by any member of the public wishing to avail of it. All that is required is that you are in the car park, and on your device (phone, laptop, etc) go to settings – Wi-Fi – and select BCP FREE WIFI – and follow the instructions.
You can then connect to any website, check emails, complete forms, download / upload any large files, etc., that you require. It is all secure and free of charge. This Hi Speed Broadband also services the WEST HUB where you can reserve a desk if you need to work / study remotely. The WEST HUB is also very suitable for doing online interviews, online meetings, etc.
This initiative is supported by the National Broadband Plan on behalf of the Government of Ireland.
